ryuu shibata
basic info;
Name: Ryuu Shibata. He has no middle name.
Gender: Male.
Age: Fifteen.
Upper or Lower: Lower class.
Birth date: March 4th.
looks;
Height: 5 feet 2 inches.
Weight: 95 pounds.
Weapon?:
Ryuu has a machete that is 60 cm. It has a gleaming white blade which is constantly being polished. The handle is black and soft, crafting just to Ryuu's hand.
Appearance:
Ryuu is often mistaken for a younger child of thirteen because of his kiddish appearance and short height. His soft tan face and large, bright green eyes certainly don't help his case. His body is lean and skinny, as his mother often remarks jokingly, "he could slide through any crack." With a small, rounded nose and rosy cheeks splashed with many freckles followed by a large smile that sparkles his eyes, Ryuu always looks utterly joyful.
Messy, red hair falls down into his face, tickles his cheeks, and touches the lower part of the back of his neck. This hair is always held out of his face by a green piece of cloth tied around his forehead, the hair falls over the headband, giving it a spiked appearance. His clothes aren't anything special, just a wrinkled, light green t-shirt and a pair of loose tan pants. Around the pants is a darker brown sash that acts like a belt. His shoes are a pair of dark brown boots that go up to his knees, they are made of a very thick and sturdy cloth. The cloth is wrapped around his legs, sort of like a bandage.
acting;
Sexuality: Straight.
Occupation?: Ryuu has no job, though he goes to school.
Personality:
Ryuu is a jester, plain and simple. The fun side of life is the one he lives, turning tense situations into light ones is something he loves to do. When things get too serious or somber, Ryuu gets twitchy and starts to fidget. Laughter is the key to life, he says. Even though he is positive and loves to laugh, sometimes his constant cracks and positivity can really get on people's nerves. Honestly, he doesn't know when to shut up. When first meeting people, he normally acts perky rather friendly; sometimes to the point where he seems a bit crazy. He still is very much a kid.
Ryuu isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, as they say. He isn't outwardly stupid, but commonsense is something he obviously lacks. He always wants to rush into things and never notices the little details. Ignoring the signs people give-- like when they get annoyed, don't want to be bothered. or want to switch to a different topic--he can become a bother easily. He also easily holds grudges, never forgetting the face of someone who wronged him.
Family is something extremely important to Ryuu, seeing as he has so many members to cope with. Loving adventure and suspense, Ryuu has become a minor thief to gain small things such as fruit and extra coins from upper class folk for his family. Most of his siblings adore him because of his fun-loving personality; but his parents wish he could be more serious and help around the house instead of wandering off for hours at a time.

Jun- A mutt, though nobody knows what he is mixed with. He is large, about the size of a boxer. His coat is tan with dark brown splotches all over. His eyes are amber and he has a very sweet disposition. All the kids adore him and he in turn would protect them with his life. Keiko and Kyo are known to pull on his floppy ears and lay on him.
History:
Ryuu is the first born of all the seven children. He was born in this village and has lived here all of his life. Isao, his father, is a merchant and travels across sea to larger cities to sell and trade often. Akira, his mother, stays home to tend to all of the children and attend to the house. He runs the families errands and sometimes helps his father set up their small boat.
School has always been something boring to Ryuu, and he never has and as it seems never will pay much attention. Finding it dull and useless he would much rather spend his days wandering the alleys and using his machete. Thievery came to Ryuu when he was around seven, but then it was just minor pieces of fruit from vendors, and the thefts were few and far. As the years went by he became better and better at it, and he started to take items more often. Nowadays he steals more valuable things like coins. His machete was actually stolen from an upper class weapons crafter.
His hatred for the upper class people actually goes beyond them having more money or riches. When Ryuu was seven and wandering around the upper class streets, three older upper class kids jumped him out of nowhere. Ever since then his hatred blossomed, and his thievery started a bit after this incident.
No face claim.
