Alonzo is a friendly person, but he's very aloof. Aside from Anita, he has never allowed himself to have many close friends, thus, people he meet are often mere acquaintances in his mind. There are always exceptions, though, even if there is a small amount. He has only spent a small bit of time in Kincho, so he most likely won't have many close friends unless if people (and him, of course) are willing. While he keeps himself and his problems further away from people, he himself is a pretty good friend- despite the fact that he is a great liar with a bad habit of lying.

While most who visit his store are unaware that most of his antiques are stolen, there are some who he has been rather smart enough to know of his and Anita's activities behind the scenes and resent him greatly for them. He's rather afraid of meeting his enemies, thus he would try and avoid talking or running into them at all costs.

Because he was adopted and the only family he knew was his adoptive father (who he loves dearly), any other blood-related relative is unknown to him, though there are possibilities of siblings, parents, and relatives.
