about upper class
The people of the upper class are usually very wealthy. It's not uncommon to find that they have inherited large amounts of money from parents and grandparents. Most are very happy, to be living like they do. There are some people- mostly kids- who grumble about having to be so polite. Most people who work own their own shops or do trading- through the ships- with other wealthy people across sea.
Most families in the upper class area are relatively small. Families normally consist of one to three kids. Some people have no kids though, and some may have four. It would be very rare for there to be more than five kids in a family. Relatives rarely visit, and when they do it is for a short time. Many times though, large groups of friends- normally the adult's friends- will come over for dinner or lunch.
The homes of upper class people are very large, consisting of many rooms to explore. Being very clean, it is hard to find anything out of place in them. The school building isn't far from the upper side of the village, and the walk is very safe. Some kids even have private tutors, and so they do school work at home. Many people love to hang out in the gardens of the upper class part, though others find them boring.
Upper class people look down on the lower class. They think of them as slobs or thieves who do nothing to improve the conditions in which they live. In all fairness too, some of the lower class people will try and steal from them. A few older boys will start fights with lower class kids for fun, and bring along a friend or two. But not all people are into messing with the lowers. You may even find a generous person or two among the crowd, but it's not super common.
