common sword:

• Your average sword, seen in medieval times. Because it is thicker than the slender sword it is heavier, making quick blows almost impossible. The advantage is, the common sword's hits have more power and do more damage. This is fit used for stronger people. Length varies from 70-90 cm.

slender sword:

• A skinnier version of the common sword. Because it is more slender then the common sword, blows can be dealt quicker. However these quick blows are not as powerful because of how quick they are being delivered. This is more fit for people with less strength and more agility. Length varies from 70-90 cm.

katana:

• A special Japanese sword. It's heavier, like the common sword, but it's edge is curved and it's edge is lethal sharp. Again, probably for people with more strength. Length varies from 60-73 cm.

wakizashi:

• A shorter version of the katana. For people with less strength. Length varies from 30-50 cm.

machete:

• A weapon sort of like a large cleaver. Though smaller, a machete can be used like a sword. People of all strength types can use this. Length varies from 32 to 60 cm.

dagger:

• A double edged fighting knife. It is mostly used for stabbing or slashing. Length varies from 3 to 5 inches (7.62 to 12.7 cm).

shuriken:

• Much like a knife, shuriken are star-shaped throwing blades sometimes known as “ninja stars”.

boomerang:

• A flying L shaped tool. Can be used to throw or even to hit other people with. Size ranges from tiny to large, some being as small as 10 cm from tip to tip, the largest being 180 cm.

club:

• A very simple weapon, clubs are normally wooden staffs or sticks. They are used for hitting. Lengths vary from 30 to 65 cm.

bo:

• A large staff, can be used for defense and hitting. It is usually around 6ft.

jo:

• A jo is basically a shorter bo. It is usually around 4ft.

bow and arrow:

• I think most people know what this is. It's a flexible arch shaped weapon that projects arrows.
